Kathline Carr's Miraculum Monstrum, winner of the Clarissa Dalloway Book Prize from AROHO Foundation, is forthcoming from Red Hen Press, Los Angeles.
Miraculum Monstrum is an epic hybrid poem that merges the experiences of Tristia Vogel, a female artist who experiences a radical physical transformation that begins with the excrescence of apparent wings, and the curator who mounts a posthumous exhibit of artifacts of Vogel's life and work.
